Like hair extensions, eyelash extensions add length to human eyelashes. Synthetic single fiber polyester thread-like materials are applied to eyelashes to create a fuller look. They come in various lengths, colors and thicknesses, and can be worn during sleep, showering and swimming. However, excessive exposure to oil can weaken the adhesive bond. Eyelash extensions differ from "fake" or "false" eyelashes in that they are applied one extension to one lash. The procedure to attach the extensions takes an average of an hour for a full set of extensions - roughly 30-90 lashes per eye. Eyelash extensions may last from three weeks to four weeks, depending on the cycle of your lash growth. Also every day make up removal routine is important to keep them on as long as possible. While the artificial lash is placed directly upon the natural lash, they both will fall off naturally as your lashes cycle out and regrow. Most people choose black lashes, however, brown, red, green and purple are available. Coloured lashes are good for accents. Excellent look (90 lashes per eye) €70 Great "night out" look. 0.25 mm thick. 13 - 15 mm long. Colour lashes €1 per lash. Colour lashes are inserted between the black lashes.
